Fire Safety Plans

 A Fire Safety Plan is  required under Section 2.8 of Division B and other areas of the Fire Code. This document is a detailed document designed to deal with all aspects of workplace safety relating to a specific fire protection and fire safety for a building or property.  Fire safety plans are intended to be a reference manual, outlining the fire safety practices to be routinely used in case of a fire emergency. 

Different types of facilities and occupancies require to have these documents under the fire code requirements such as:

• Care
• Care and treatment
• Industrial
• Assembly
• Detention
• Residential over 10 occupants
• Business with over 300 occupants
