Fire extinguisher inspection

NFPA 10 of the Fire Code requires that in any commercial, industrial and multi-residential settings fire extinguishers are present, inspected and maintained. Adequate maintenance of extinguishers consists of annual and monthly inspections, 6 year maintenance, hydro-static testing and recharging as needed.

For a fire extinguisher to be effective, the extinguisher must be right for the type of fire, it must be located where it can be easily reached, and it must be in good working order. 

Ontario Fire Protection  can assist in determining the right  type of extinguisher, the proper location and condition. We have certified technicians to conduct maintenance, inspection and installation of all types of fire extinguishers. 

We can come to your location and complete an "Annual" or "Monthly" inspection complete with tags, provide reports of inspection, and certificates. Any extinguishers that require service, pricing will be provided at time of inspection. Loaner extinguishers will be provided at your property while we service your extinguishers to ensure you are always protected. 

You can also bring in your extinguishers for inspection to our office located in Hamilton. Come by and service can be completed while you wait or just drop it off and come later to pick up.
